One Four Challenge – January Week 1

For the January Challenge (processing one image in four different ways over four weeks), I chose a favorite photo, “Charleston Oaks”.

Charleston Oaks - Soft Spring

“Charleston Oaks” was taken in early May, and my initial edits enhanced the soft green foliage.  I made minor tweaks to the saturation, white balance and hue to warm it up a little.  I removed two distracting figures in red shirts from the foreground.  I used Aperture for the editing.

  1. What a lovely place and with a Narnia street lamp in the middle of the path 🙂 And miraculously no people! Look forward to your other weeks, this image is lovely.
